Come out to Ultimate Comics Durham on August 17th and help us celebrate the 16th anniversary of Ultimate Comics with an all our birthday bash! We’re going to have a huge tent sale, creator signings, a charity blood drive, and a visit from our friends Boom Studios!
Under the big tent we’ll have a huge selection of dollar books carefully curated from the Ultimate Comics Super Secret Warehouse. Make sure to check out our selection of discount graphic novels and toys out under the big top.
But we’re not stopping with just a tent sale. Special guest, Jeremy Whitley will be signing his new Marvel series Future Foundation #1! We’re also bringing out a bunch of indie comic creators who will be hanging out with all sorts of cool art for you to check out!
Need more cool comic book guests? Morgan Perry of Boom! Studios fame and acclaim is coming all the way out from LA to party with the Ultimate Crew. We’re hanging out and launching the new hit comic Once and Future by Kieron Gillen and Dan Mora! We’ll have an exclusive cover and be doing a giveaway. We’ve read the comic, and man this is an event you do not want to miss!
Ultimate Comics is also teaming up with our friends the Ghostbusters of NC and the Blood Connection to host a blood drive to benefit the amazing charity, Magic Wheelchair! Come on down from 10 am to 3 pm and help save up to 3 lives by signing up to make a blood donation. The Ghostbusters of NC will be decked out with their proton packs and will be hanging out all day with the Blood Connection crew to take pictures with anyone who stops by to donate! There’s also been uncomfirmed sightings of a 9 ft Stay Puft Marshmallow Man who may be making an appearance!
